Meg Maskell Fine Jewellery is an Australian fine jewellery brand specialising in custom engagement rings, wedding bands and one-of-a-kind pieces, designed and made within our Sydney workshop.

Founded by Meg and her husband Daniel in 2013, the business began with weekend markets, a small garage workshop and an uncompromising approach to the craft. More than a decade on, it has grown into an established boutique and manufacturing studio in Hornsby on Sydney's Upper North Shore, supported by a close-knit team of trained jewellers and craftspeople.

Originally training in graphic design while working within the jewellery world from her early teen years, Meg's approach has always balanced creativity with craftsmanship. She later undertook a traditional apprenticeship in handmade jewellery manufacturing before further training in gemstone setting, developing the hands-on workshop knowledge that continues to shape every piece today.

How a piece is made has always remained central to the Meg Maskell approach. Every design is created with careful consideration given not only to how it looks, but also to structure and how each piece will sit, feel and function once worn.

In 2017, the business opened its first boutique following the restoration of a character-filled heritage building in Hornsby. As the workshop and team continued to grow, the business expanded into its current home just a few doors away, following another extensive restoration of an 1890s building that now houses both the boutique and workshop under one roof.

Today, Meg Maskell Fine Jewellery continues to be shaped by a strong connection between design and making, from sourcing unique gemstones and working directly with clients through to the final stages of crafting each piece within the workshop.

At the heart of everything Meg creates is a love of unique gemstones. From Australian sapphires and opals to Argyle diamonds and sapphires in every colour from around the world, no two stones are ever the same.
