All Meg Maskell Fine Jewellery pieces are made to order, therefore exchanges or returns are not offered for change of mind.
Utmost care is taken in making each individual Meg Maskell piece of jewellery, however we are human so manufacturing faults can happen. Our warranty covers all manufacturing faults on a piece and if a manufacturing fault is found this will be repaired at no cost to you. Please contact us via firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any problems with your piece.
All other damage/wear including everyday wear and tear, damage to diamonds/gemstones or other forms of damage are not covered by our warranty. Wear and tear is not considered a fault and as such is not covered by our warranty.
Manufacturing Faults do not include the following:
- General wear and tear.
- Damage from improper care or negligence.
- Broken/bent claws or prongs.
- Pieces that are scratched, bent or misshaped.
- Chipped, cracked or broken gemstones.
- Any work including resizes and repairs undertaken by another jeweller.
Although diamonds & gemstones are hard, they can be broken, chipped or lost if not carefully cared for. Gemstones/diamonds that have come loose, damaged or lost due to damage are not covered under warranty.
All of our pieces are made from precious metals including gold, platinum and sterling silver amongst others. These metals need to be cared for as they are much softer than many other objects used in everyday life. You can scratch or damage the metal by picking up steel or other hard objects or hitting the piece on hard surfaces. Scratches and other forms of damage to the piece are not covered by our warranty.
We offer free yearly clean and polish service, which includes checking for any stones that may have loosened over time. If there are no signs of external damage the stones will be tightened at no charge. If there is signs of external wear and tear this will be quoted on a case by case basis before repairs are made.
Please note that if any other jeweller undertakes work on one of our pieces, including resizing, repairs or alterations this warranty will be voided. We strongly recommend returning to us for any repairs and resizes. We do not take any responsibility for repairs or resizes undertaken by other jewellers.
Jewellery can easily be damaged, lost or stolen and as such we strongly encourage all of our clients to insure their jewellery with an adequate insurance policy. Ensure your insurance policy covers you for accidental damage to your piece, loss and theft. It is also wise to keep records of your jewellery including photos of the pieces.
RETURN SHIPPING FOR REPAIRS
Only post an item to Meg Maskell Fine Jewellery once you have contacted us at email@example.com and have received an item return number. To return your product, you should mail your product to: Meg Maskell, PO Box 55, HORNSBY NSW 1630.
Please return the item in secure protective packaging to ensure the piece is not damaged in transit. We suggest using a trackable/registered postage service and purchasing shipping insurance. We are unable guarantee that we will receive your returned item and will not be held responsible for items that are lost during transit.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the item is deemed faulty.
Depending on where you live and the method of postage, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
