Terms and Conditions
- Promoter
The promoter is Liberty Hub Pty Ltd (ABN 90 138 689 255), trading as Meg Maskell Fine Jewellery, located at 14 Coronation Street, Hornsby NSW 2077 ("Promoter").
- Eligibility
Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over. The prize will only be shipped to an Australian address or collected in person. Valid photo identification may be required to verify age and identity before the prize is awarded.
The following individuals are ineligible:
• Employees of the Promoter and their immediate family members;
• Entries submitted via competition aggregator sites, automated tools, or bots;
• Individuals entering using multiple Instagram accounts;
• Incomplete, fraudulent, or misleading entries.
Entries must be submitted by a real individual for personal use only. Entries made on behalf of others or for commercial purposes are not permitted. Only entries from public Instagram accounts are eligible. Private account entries cannot be verified and will be deemed ineligible.
- Promotional Period
The promotion starts at 7:00pm AEST on Wednesday 4 June 2025 and ends at 11:59am AEST on Friday 13 June 2025.
- How to Enter
To enter, participants must, during the Promotional Period:
• Like the giveaway post on @megmaskellfinejewellery Instagram;
• Follow @megmaskellfinejewellery on Instagram at the time of entry and remain a follower until the winner is drawn;
• Comment on the giveaway post with their favourite gemstone;
• (Optional) Tag up to four (4) friends in separate comments for bonus entries (one bonus entry per valid tag, max of 4).
All entries must be made from a public Instagram account. Each person may submit one base entry and up to four bonus entries via tagging.
Entries submitted using multiple accounts or fake profiles will be disqualified. The Promoter reserves the right to disallow or remove any entry that does not comply with these Terms & Conditions, including spam or harassment via tagging.
- Prize
The winner will receive a one-of-a-kind 18ct Yellow Gold Diamond & Australian Sapphire Cluster Ring, valued at AUD $2,500.00.
This handcrafted ring is set with:
• 1 x 3.00 x 2.00 mm Pear Cut Natural Diamond
• 1 x 3.00 mm Blue Sapphire from Lava Plains, QLD
• 1 x 2.00 mm Round Brilliant Cut Natural Diamond
• 1 x 2.50 mm Teal Sapphire from Rubyvale, QLD
• 1 x 1.70 mm Blue Sapphire from Rubyvale, QLD
The ring features a 1.70 mm half-round profile band and is currently made in finger size K½.
The ring may be resized once, free of charge, to any size between J and N prior to collection or delivery. Resizing outside of this range is not possible.
The prize:
• Cannot be remade, altered beyond the specified sizing range, or exchanged for another metal colour, gemstone combination, or alternative product;
• Is non-transferable, non-refundable, and not redeemable for cash;
• Must be accepted as awarded.
If the winner is unable or unwilling to accept the prize on these terms, the prize will be forfeited and a redraw may be conducted.
- Winner Selection and Notification
The winner will be selected at random at 2:00pm AEST on Friday 13 June 2025, at the Promoter’s business premises:
14 Coronation Street, Hornsby NSW 2077
The winner will be:
• Contacted via direct message by the official @megmaskellfinejewellery Instagram account;
• Announced publicly via Instagram Story, a new Instagram Post, and in a comment on the original giveaway post, using their Instagram handle and, where permitted, their first name and surname initial.
The Promoter reserves the right to verify that the winner was following @megmaskellfinejewellery both at the time of entry and at the time the winner is drawn. If this condition is not met, the winner may be disqualified and a redraw conducted.
If the winner does not respond within seven (7) days, a redraw will be conducted on Friday 20 June 2025 under the same conditions.
- Privacy
The Promoter will collect personal information (such as Instagram handle, full name, postcode, and delivery address) solely to administer the giveaway and deliver the prize. Entrants consent to the use of their first name, initial, and suburb for winner announcement purposes.

- General Conditions
The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age, and place of residence) and, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual the Promoter has reason to believe has breached these Terms and Conditions, tampered with the entry process, or engaged in any unlawful or improper misconduct intended to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the promotion.
Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. The Promoter's legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from any offender are reserved.
- Game of Chance Declaration
This is a game of chance. Skill plays no part in determining the winner. The winner will be drawn at random from all eligible entries.
- Prohibited Conduct
Entrants must not:
• Use multiple accounts, fake profiles, or impersonate others to enter;
• Use automated or fraudulent methods of entry (e.g. scripts, bots);
• Submit defamatory, misleading, or offensive comments;
• Attempt to manipulate, disrupt or tamper with the giveaway process;
• Enter through third-party competition services or aggregator websites.
- Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
- Permit Information
This giveaway complies with permit exemption thresholds under promotional lottery regulations in NSW, VIC, QLD, WA, and TAS.
As the total prize value does not exceed thresholds in ACT and SA, no permit is currently required. If regulations change, appropriate permits will be obtained.
- Instagram Disclaimer
This giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram or Meta.
By entering, participants release Instagram and Meta from all liability related to the promotion.
- Scam & Impersonation Warning
The only official account for this giveaway is @megmaskellfinejewellery
We will never:
• Ask for your payment or banking information;
• Ask you to follow any secondary or suspicious account;
• Send suspicious links or contact you via another platform.
Any other communications should be considered fraudulent and reported to Instagram.
The Promoter accepts no liability for losses resulting from scam accounts or impersonation attempts.
- Alternate Entry (Non-Instagram Users)
Entrants without access to Instagram may enter by emailing their full name, postcode, and favourite gemstone to giveaway@megmaskell.com.au during the Promotional Period.
Only one email entry is permitted per person. Email entries will be included in the same random draw and treated equally to Instagram entries.
