OUR STORY

Meg Maskell Fine Jewellery is a bespoke handcrafted collection, owned and operated by Meg and her husband Daniel in their Sydney Boutique. Originally formed in 2013, the brand developed from a workshop in our home garage, to the small crew of talented creatives that now make up the MM team.

In many ways it was only inevitable that Meg would end up becoming a jeweller, as she had grown up around the jewellery industry through family ties. Having originally studied graphic design, she soon realised that whilst designing was a passion of hers, she wanted to be able to take a concept off the paper and make something beautiful.

Meg then went on to complete a traditional jewellery manufacturing apprenticeship. She was trained in the classical handmade manufacturing techniques that have evolved over thousands of years. This enables Meg to know all the ins and outs of crafting a piece that will last a lifetime. With a desire to create her own designs and a growing list of clients she decided it was time to take the leap and start the journey of Meg Maskell Fine Jewellery.

Founded around custom designs, engagement rings and wedding bands, the range then grew into our initial ready to wear collection in 2014. These original pieces are still some of our most popular, with their simplistic timeless designs being perfect for every day wear.

In 2017 we took on the challenge of renovating a character filled 110 plus year old building in Sydney’s upper north shore and opened the original boutique.
